Cold-rolled flat metal products facility planned in Alabuga area

KAZAN, Mar 12 (PRIME) -- The supervisory board of Russia’s republic of Tatarstan-based Alabuga special economic area approved a U.S. $250 million cold-rolled flat metal products facility to be built by Gemont Metal until July-September 2020, the area said in a statement on Monday.

The first stage of the plant will have a capacity of 770,000 tonnes annually. It will be later expanded to 1.25 million tonnes.
